The Center offers a broad range of graduate and post-doctoral fellowships to support research within the Clark Library’s collections. Applications for research fellowships during the 2022–23 academic year are now open and submissions will be accepted until this year’s deadline of February 1, 2022.
Fellowships offered this year include our annual Ahmanson-Getty postdoctoral fellowship for junior scholars. This year-long fellowship supports our annual Core Program. The 2022–23 core program is “The Forgotten Canopy: Ecology, Ephemeral Architecture, and Imperialism in the Circum-Caribbean and Trans-Atlantic World” organized by Stella Nair (UCLA) and Paul Niell (Florida State University).
Among the other shorter-term fellowships we offer is our new Wilde-Holland Fellowship established to support 1–2 months of research at the Clark Library in its Oscar Wilde collection. We would also like to particularly encourage UCLA graduate students to apply for our 9-month, UCLA only, Clark Dissertation Fellowships.
