SUMMARY:The Clark Library Acquisitions Salon
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the UCLA William Andrews Clark Memorial Library for 
 the Acquisitions Salon\, an afternoon reception showcasing over sixty rece
 nt additions to the collections. This annual gathering offers a rare oppor
 tunity to encounter a wide selection of books\, manuscripts\, and archival
  materials acquired over the past year. Clark librarians will be in attend
 ance to speak about the materials on view\, highlight both familiar and le
 sser-known strengths of the collection\, and a vision for how it is evolvi
 ng.\n\nGuests are invited to view the materials up close in the Drawing Ro
 om and engage directly with the intellectual and material life of our coll
 ections. A conservator will be available to offer insight into the care re
 quired to sustain rare books and manuscripts over time. Attendees will hav
 e the opportunity to support our work through sponsorship of acquisitions 
 or preservation efforts\, with recognition provided through custom archiva
 l enclosures and commemorative bookplates. Guests will depart with a deepe
 r sense of the richness of the Clark Library’s treasures and the role th
 ey can play in shaping its future.\n\n\n\nThis event is free to attend and
  will be held in-person at the Clark Library. Capacity is limited at the C
