DESCRIPTION:All Chamber Music at the Clark tickets will be sold by the UCLA
  Central Ticket Office. Tickets may be purchased online\, via telephone\, 
 or in person. \nTicket prices: General $55\; Senior (age 55+) $45\; UCLA 
 student (valid student ID required for each ticket) $15. Tickets are non-r
 efundable.\nTickets for this concert will go on sale Tuesday\, September 9
  at 12:00 noon.\nSeating at the Clark Library is limited\, and tickets are

 ic\, spectacular – the Aris Quartett has been at home on international s
 tages for more than a decade. With its unmistakable sound\, it has long be
 en known as one of the world’s top-ranked chamber music ensembles.\n\nTh
 e musicians have performed in venues including London's Wigmore Hall\, the
  Elbphilharmonie Hamburg\, the Herbst Theatre San Francisco\, and the Phil
 harmonie de Paris. Their choice of chamber music partners is exceptional: 
 Christiane Karg\, Tabea Zimmermann\, Daniel Müller-Schott\, Eckart Runge\
 , Kit Armstrong\, and Nils Mönkemeyer.\n\nThe ensemble also devotes itsel
 f to cross-genre projects\, including with the jazz pianist Omer Klein. Fr
 om the very beginning\, the musicians have also placed a special focus on 
 contemporary music. Composers such as Lukas Ligeti\, Gerald Resch\, Misato
  Mochizuki\, and Pierre Dominique Ponnelle have entrusted the Quartett wit
 h world premieres of their works.\n\nFounded in Frankfurt am Main in 2009\
 , the Aris Quartett\, one of whose most important mentors has been Günter
  Pichler (Alban Berg Quartet)\, continues to perform to this day in an unc
 hanged format. The ensemble’s success is no coincidence: having earned n
 umerous first prizes at prestigious competitions\, the Aris Quartett quick
 ly achieved its international breakthrough. The musicians have also been h
 onored as ECHO Rising Stars by the European Concert Hall Organization\, we
 re among the BBC's New Generation Artists\, and have won five awards at th
 e ARD International Music Competition in Munich.\n\nIn addition to regular
  appearances on radio and television\, the Aris Quartett has already relea
 sed multiple CD productions on labels including Deutsche Grammophon and ST
 AGE+ that have received considerable acclaim from critics.\n\n\n\nChamber
