The William Andrews Clark Memorial Library is delighted to congratulate Joshua Kruchten, recipient of the 2026–2027 American Trust for the British Library/Clark Library Fellowship.
Kruchten’s research explores the intersections of literature, book history, and media theory. His current monograph project, Renaissance Media Theories, examines sixteenth-century books and reading practices to better understand changing forms of media and communication.
Through its partnership with the American Trust for the British Library (ATBL), the Clark Library offers an add-on short-term fellowship supporting research projects that make use of the British Library’s collections. This collaboration provides fellows with the opportunity to extend their research across both institutions, placing the Clark Library’s collections in dialogue with those of the British Library.
We are thrilled to celebrate Joshua’s selection and proud to support his continued research through this special partnership. Please join us in congratulating Joshua on this wonderful achievement!
