All Chamber Music at the Clark tickets will be sold by the UCLA Central Ticket Office. Tickets may be purchased online, via telephone, or in person.
Ticket prices: General $60; Senior (age 55+) $50; UCLA student (valid student ID required for each ticket) $15. Tickets are non-refundable.
Tickets for this concert will go on sale Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at 12:00 noon.
Seating at the Clark Library is limited, and tickets are likely to sell out within a few minutes.

Celebrated for its bold and vibrant performance style, the Quatuor Danel has been a prominent force on the international classical music scene for over thirty years. The ensemble is acclaimed for its deeply personal interpretations of string quartet cycles by Haydn, Beethoven, Schubert, Shostakovich, and Weinberg. Their recordings, particularly of Shostakovich and Weinberg, have received international accolades and defined the group’s benchmark achievements.
The Quartet’s 2023–24 North American tour included appearances with Aspect Chamber Music Series, Peoples’ Symphony Concerts, Music Toronto, Chamber Music in Oklahoma, and McGill International String Quartet Academy. They also perform regularly across Europe and Asia, with recent engagements in France, Germany, Portugal, Taiwan, and Japan.
Uniquely, the Quartet has worked closely with Irina Shostakovich and the late Valentin Berlinsky (Borodin Quartet), refining their profound approach to Russian repertoire. Their recent Shostakovich quartet cycle, recorded at Gewandhaus Leipzig and released on Accentus, has received widespread praise.
The Quartet was the first to record the complete quartets of Mieczysław Weinberg and continues to champion his music alongside works by major contemporary composers including Sofia Gubaidulina, Wolfgang Rihm, and Jörg Widmann.
Recent recording projects include Tchaikovsky’s quartets, Franck’s Piano Quintet with Paavali
Jumppanen, and plans for a full Beethoven cycle set for release in 2027 with Accentus and the
Gewandhaus Leipzig.
A strong advocate for young musicians, Quatuor Danel has served as artist-in-residence at the
University of Manchester since 2005, where it regularly teaches and mentors emerging string quartets.
